Hi guys,

Good job on the new update on the forum (a lot of it people can't see, but as a moderator - there are some pretty cool new features <G>). I love the reported post feature Smile

(not 100% sure on the new smilies though, the look a bit "square" to me :/)

Any update on the ETA for this new release? I'm guessing its coming close now, as you are testing it on your site?

Hi,

How do you "favorite" a post? (i.e for viewing on this link: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/forum/?do=favourites). I took a look on the links themselves, but could see any obviouse way to add it to your fave's :)

Thanks. It's taken a while, but we've finally got it to a point where we were comfortable with putting it up on here. There's still quite a bit of work on revamping the admin side of things, so it'll take a bit of time to finish that up. We'll have an announcement and/or blog entry tomorrow with more details.

You favourite a post by clicking on the star in the post actions (top right of the post).

I am happy to see the functionalities of G-Forum moving forward !

Just wondering what kind of functionality the "Social Media Settings" are having ?
Is it only to insert e.g. your FlickR-name and whether you make this name to be viewable by others ?

Is there any other functionality to the "Social Media App" ?

With the "Ignore List" in the "Settings" section - what exactly does this do?

Stop people replying to your messages?
Stop them PM'ing you?
Something else? =)

When you add a user to the ignore list, "Block Private Messages" and "Ignore Posts" (you can always click to expand and view any ignored posts) will be checked by default. You can choose to keep either or both of these options enabled after you've added a user to the list.

And can these people tell if you've blocked them? Or for sending PM's, does it just come up with a generic "this user has disabled PM's" ?
