It's kind of supposed to be like that... For example if you create a link like this: <a href="www.gossamer-threads.com">gt</a> it won't link properly. It's required to have the protocol (http://) with it for it to work. Jason *could* add an extra regex to check for a protocol (http/ftp/etc) and the '://'...
