Yeah, but Alex fled the country (for Perl Whirl) before releasing to get back at me for going away and making him release 1.1.0 while I was away

Just one - it adds a column named 'user_jump_to_unread' to the User table to keep track of whether or not the user wants to jump to the first unread post or to the root when clicking on a thread.

*sigh* I hate to do this again, but for anyone getting an error message like "Can't locate GT/SQL.pm in @INC (@INC contains: ...) at .../install.cgi line 7009.", please download the package again. If your upgrade worked, ignore this post.
I was sure I'd already fixed this bug a couple of days ago, but it seems I fixed it in the wrong place and so it never made it into the active code.

Uh oh, unfortunately that was a 1.1.0 bug - globals are now stored in the "local" directory of your template directory so that they will not be overwritten in future upgrades. Sorry about that!

You can use the same link; the filename (gforum-1.1.1.tar.gz) hasn't changed.

Hmm, I can get there by changing forums.cgi to gforum.cgi. But there are some odd things going on - it almost looks like your User table was wiped. Is this an import?

I always forget the upgrade changes it back. It did wipe the user table though-- I'm going to try it again and see if it's something I screwed up when I was copying the database to the test one or if it's something the script did. It also appeared to have deleted my templates.

Can you take a look at the header of import.pl, and tell me what it lists for Revision:?

You have to have Gossamer Forum up and running properly before you run the import. Likewise, the forum you're importing from also has to be running properly before the import. Go into admin.cgi and configure Gossamer Forum before you import. One note about the UBB5 import, is that the total number of imported users it outputs at the end is wrong
It's actually half that number. I haven't had a chance to fix it yet (it's just a cosmetic thing).
BTW, thanks for letting us use your forum for the UBB5 import testing.

Hi Adrian,
The current UBB5 is running. GForum is also running containing data imported by GT staff during testing. What I did was as follow :-
I have sent informations via support form and you may wish to take a look to see what has gone wrong ?
For the purpose of testing, I have also completed another fresh installation of GForum 1.1.1 and run import.pl and also encounter the same error.
MY current UBB5 running at
/path/ubbcgi/Ultimate.cgi
Is it correct to use the following as source when running import.pl
import.pl --type=UBB5 --source=/path/ubbcgi --clear--database
