FATAL Error
Hello,
I have an error in GForum 1.2.2. When I try to write a post or view a post I get an error.
When I try to view a post it says:
Can't call method "fetchrow_hashref" on an undefined value at /natsys/cgi-bin/gforum/admin/GForum/Post/View.pm line 71.

Debug information(some information omitted):
--------------------------------------------------
GT::SQL::Driver::MYSQL::sth (1728): Executing query:
SELECT *
FROM gforum_Post LEFT OUTER JOIN gforum_User ON
WHERE (gforum_Post.post_id = '4')

from NPSForum::Post::View::view_flat at /natsys/cgi-bin/gforum/admin/GForum/Post/View.pm line 71

GT::SQL::Relation (1728): Failed to execute query: '
SELECT *
FROM gforum_Post LEFT OUTER JOIN gforum_User ON
WHERE (gforum_Post.post_id = '4')

' Reason: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE (gforum_Post.post_id = '4')' at line 3 at /natsys/cgi-bin/gforum/admin/GT/SQL/Driver/MYSQL.pm line 117.
Can't call method "fetchrow_hashref" on an undefined value at /natsys/cgi-bin/gforum/admin/GForum/Post/View.pm line 71.

I have a windows computer installed Apache and MySQL and Perl5.
Apache version is: Apache/1.3.27 (Win32)
Mysql version is: mysql Ver 12.21 Distrib 4.0.15, for Win95/Win98 (i32)
Perl version is: perl, v5.8.3 built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
What should I do? I really need help. Please help me.
Thanks...

Can you send me (attach) three files: the admin/GForum/Relation/PostUser.pm file, the admin/defs/gforum_Post.def file, and the admin/defs/gforum_User.def file? That should help me track down the problem.

Hi,

Got the same problem. From what I can see, it looks like its to do with some weird charachter in gforum_Post.def:

Code:
'subclass' => {
'html' => {},
'relation' => {
'gforum_PostUser' => 'GForum::Relation::PostUser'
},
'table' => {
'gforum_Post' => 'GForum::Table::Post'
}
},

Changing this
Code:
'subclass' => {
'html' => {},
'relation' => {
'gforum_PostUser' => 'GForum::Relation::PostUser'
},
'table' => {
'gforum_Post' => 'GForum::Table::Post'
}
},

..doesn't seem to fix the error either :/

Any ideas?

Cheers
