I would like to have a place for people to select an avatar that they can select from. Is this currently possible?

Hi,
Afraid I'm not sure how you give them a "list" - but they can upload their own Avatar in their "profile".

How do they do that? When I go to upload one error.

Shoot over GForum admin details, a sample user (that I can try adding an avatar for), and FTP access - and I'll take a look for you (andy @ ultranerds.com ). Could be one of a few things.
