is there a place where i can download perl 5.003 ???? or how do i know if my computer has it?

DBMAN is written in perl, so yes you need perl
Why do you want 5.003?...that is ancient. Is this your own computer or a shared server?
If it is your computer and you haven't installed perl, then it won't be installed.

What type of account do you have with brinkster? This was taken from their FAQ (so you may be SOL)
