I have setup dbman but found that if you add more than 50 records it doesnt allow any more records to be added. Have I done something wrong in the configuration?

It isn't a bug - I've seen installations with thousands of records

The problem is that i have setup the software to allow users to add records, it works to 50 records then seems to lose the id number so that more records cannot be added unless the ids existing 1-50 are renumbered manually to a higher no.

I've heard of others having this problem but I'm not sure what they did to fix it.
I've never had this happen to me.

One suggestion which is just a shot in the dark is to add this modification and see if it makes a difference.

In the FAQ noted below under the section "Admin" look for the thread reference called "Prevent Duplicate ID # due to page Reload"

Let me know if this makes a difference.
