OK, I installed JPDeni's password lookup mod. However, when I go to the login page, I need to create a new account now. But, it won't let me go to the account creation page! I cannot log in either as anything.

Did you install this after your database went "live" with users in the .pass file?

These are the only things I have in my pass file:

admin:admin:1:1:1:1:1:foo@bar.com
author:author:1:1:1:1:0:bar@foo.com
guest:guest:1:0:0:0:0:far@boo.com

I cleared it up and added these b/c it said so in the instructions.

Which password lookup mod are you using? There are two: 1) Secure, and 2) Regular.
If it is the former, then you will have a problem logging on. You will have to create a new user with administrative rights (permissions) in the signup form. Then you can go in and clean up the other users.
If it is the latter, then Carol or someone else will have to help you.

I'm using the one I got off of JPDeni's site.
I think it's the regular one...but i'm not sure.

I need to change the link to the new secure mod. I wanted a few people to try the new one before I changed the link.

I changed the link just now, so that it will give you the secure password mod. It's really easier to install than the other one.
