I am using the relational version of DBMan and creating a family tree site. The upload photo MOD is being used. Users login and enter their profile in the Users database and can then add themselves or anyone else in their family to the to the SurName database.
My question is:: in the surname_html.pl file, when a user adds someone to the SurName database, is their some way to link a new entry to records already in the database? For example, if a record for Joe Brown is created in the SurName database and his father, Jim Brown is already in the database, is there a way to dynamically create a link from the displayed HTML page's information:: Father: Jim Brown that will allow someone to click on Jim Brown and then open his record/HTML display?
I have hunted through the DBMan FAQ at http://redundantcartridge.com/dbman/ and also here and do not see anything that could help me conquer this challenge.
I hope I have been coherent in my request for help.
