Count accesses to a record
I am trying to implement a access counter for each record in a database. I planned to use the short/long display mod and each time a user want see the long version of the record I have to increment a counter, which is a part of the database.
How can I write the modifyed record to the database?

Thanks for any help

There was a mod posted here a month or so ago that addresses your need. However, it was unstable since it corrupted people's database files. I hope that the mod will resurface and be stable.

One thing I will be testing in the next few weeks is adding a sub-routine based on freeware logging programs that will hopefully add a counter to each record. But it may be some time before I can get to it.
