Help. I'm so frustrated. I want to be able to export my whole dataset to .csv. I installed the Export to Excel mod and it works fine when I export up to about 300 records, but anything higher and it gives a blank screen. When I go download the file using ftp, I can see that it only got to about 300 before it stopped writing to the file. It varies, actually, sometimes it writes a different number of records, anywhere from 200-300 records are written to the csv file, and then the last field written to sometimes has only half a word or incomplete information. Is this a timing out problem? Or maybe something else? Please help! I don't know how to get this to work, and export all 1300 records.

I've never used the mod myself, but I remember where someone was having a problem due the max hits? Maybe the same solution will help you.

Thanks, I tried that one, but was still having the same problem.

In the mean time I worked out an alternate solution for my problem. I wound up removing the export to excel mod and installing the backup.pl mod. I have it so the backup sub is called just after a person logs in. I set the backup.pl mod to keep only one backup copy with a file extension of .xls. Then I just added a link to the "Home" page that links to the name of that one backup file. Now I can download the file in excel format as a precautionary measure before making any additions/modifications/deletions.

By the way, I love dbman, and it has been an awesome learning experience for me!

Your best bet is to search for all threads related to that mod. I'm sure if others have had problems they would have posted them and also any modifications or solutions that they found to get around this.
