Should I install Mod_Perl on site/server with old scripts (including links)?
I have a WHM/Cpanel server. I want to rebuild Apache and I while I want to do a fresh install of Glinks SQL, I also have old scripts and old links scripts in the account. If I choose mod_perl during intall, I think I have problems with my old cgi scripts? Should I just skip mod-perl? What is your advice?

Thanks!

Hi,

A lot of it depends on how the scripts are coded. Some will simply not work with mod_perl if they are coded wrong. For example, some perl variables dont get "shared" in the same way as they would with mod_perl

I guess you could just try it, and see if you find any issues :) (its definatly worth it from a speed point of view)

Cheers
