PHP - similar function to LWP::Simple::get ?

Hi,

Anyone got any suggestions as to how you load an external URL, via PHP?

I tried having a look on php.net, and google (with multiple queries) .. but none of them seem to work :/

Yeah, I actually found that before - but it didn't work on the server (and it was a shared account - and the host said it was "a security risk")

Finally managed to get it working anyhow - using cURL :)
