10000 - Had to post something =)

Wow... I've posted 10,000 posts (10,001 including this one Tongue

) over the last 3-4 years.

Sorry, just didn't realise it was getting that high... so I'm a little suprised Crazy

If you spent a 1/2 hour per post on average it's about 208 days. ?

How may characters on the keyboard. ?

I'm a pretty quick typer ;) The last post I just did (about 1,000 words), took about 3 minutes Tongue

Maybe I could get Alex to do a word count, on all the posts I've ever made... wonder how many millions of words I've typed over the years...LOL (if Alex reads this, I'm only joking.. no need to run the check =)).

1000 words in three minutes? hm... so you type 333 words per minute? yeah right! very few people type that fast, especially on QWERTY keyboards. Tongue

Mmm ...ok, maye not quite 333 a minute =)

I just tested myself; and in 30 seconds, I typed 56 words (averaging about 5 charchters). Not bad if I do say so myself Smile

Even my mum sometimes asks me if I'm actually typing, or just hitting the keyboard :p

Well, I hate to shatter your image, but your average is a lot less:

So you are averaging 316 characters (not words) per post, with a total of 3.1 million characters posted. If we say an average of 4 chars per word, thats about 775k words. =)
