Perl Mongers Invade Gossamer Threads!

In the last days of viable barbecue weather (just before Vancouver gives way to eight months of rain-soaked video games and pizza weather) Gossamer Threads played host to a Perl Mongers gathering: an informal meetup of Perl gurus.

Chicken, pasta salad, and Granville Island beer were on the menu, and ever-trendy topics like PgTAP and Perl6 were what all the cool kids were gossiping about. We non-programmers smiled and nodded while marveling at both the breadth of our coder brethren’s knowledge and the succulence of the chicken.

Sadly, this was our last barbecue on the deck of the Sun Tower before we head off to our new office digs on Granville St. - stay posted for details!

We’re always keen to find out what people are doing with Perl and other web technologies - if you or someone you know is hosting a similar get-together, feel free to drop us a line.
