if grill == true: bbq(burgers)

Nice ViewWith the summer season hitting us here in Vancouver (and presumably other parts of the world as well), clearly we needed to install a BBQ grill on our 9th floor patio.

Jack, our loving provider, went out and procured a grill of the finest quality, as well as some benches for us to park our keisters on while we indulge in the delights of the BBQ’s flames.

No Name brand burgers and buns make the mod_perl handling so much easier.

First, we had to assemble the bench.

Gossamer Bench Assembly

By “assemble” we mean coat the wood with some sort of weather proofing agent. Only the burliest of coders were selected to handle this demanding job. As for myself, I was obliged to take detailed notes for the writing of this blog, so I was exempt from any responsibility, burly though I may be.¹

As it became increasingly apparent that the wood planks would take a while to dry (who knew?), we said leave it² for now. No keisters were to feel the bench’s satiny finish today.

¹ Actual burliness varies from person to person
² Slightly stronger language may have been used

What’s on the menu you ask? Only the finest for us at Gossamer Threads: frozen burger patties and crusty buns.

Gossamer Hypnotized Employees

Once we were comfortable that any potential traces of e.coli and staphylococcus aureus had been eradicated, we began to prepare our circular flesh patties with our tomato based condiment, yellow hued paste, and sparse leaves of lettuce.

As apparent from the above poetry, I write alluring menu descriptions as a side job.

Let the consumption begin!

And now without further adieu, footage of us feasting on the hard-earned spoils of our sweat and tears. Behold! the Gossamer Feast:

As we descended on these beef patties, we couldn’t help but stop to admire the nice day Vancouver has blessed us with.

1 out of 7 days that week ain’t too shabby!

Leave some BBQ for me… hehe

Gossamer is always one of the company I respect so much. I can remember those early days when I am using DBMan for my first application. etc.

    Gossamer scrips do wonders!
