Goodbye Sun Tower - Hello GT Office v1.99a
December 4, 2008As you might’ve caught wind of, the times they are a-changin’ here at Gossamer Threads. Rolling stones gather no moss (okay, no more Dylan references), and we’ll be packing up shop and moving to our new digs in the heart of downtown Vancouver early in the new year. The new office is approximately 5,000 square feet - almost twice the size of our Sun Tower location!
We recently visited our new (and unfurnished) office on Granville St and snapped some “before” photos so we’ll have something to look back on once renovations are underway. Have a look!

Our future Conference Room - with lots of natural light to put clients at ease

General office area - everyone’s calling their spots!

More than one bathroom? Hells yea!

Granville St - stretching down to the Waterfront.
As with our Sun Tower location, we’ve lucked out in that our floor is the only one with ready access to an open deck with a view of downtown. This means the grand tradition of deck BBQ-ing can continue!

Wrenched from his natural habitat, our lead programmer panics.

We’re not the tallest kids on the block anymore =(
Alas, it couldn’t last forever. A bittersweet farewell to our home at the Sun Tower - for 9 years it treated us well, and shall be missed *single tear*
Keep posted for updates when we move into our newly renovated office - dubbed GT Office v2.0!

your new place is real huge, and from the shots i suppose you already engaged interior designers to spruce up the place. post us pics when they through with the aesthetics, we are waiting.

Wow GT - that space is slick. Almost a shame to build walls in that space!
